In any case, the Institution / organization, as a “processor”, cooperates with the respective “controller”, taking all the technical and organizational measures that ensure the security of users’ personal data, in accordance with the applicable legislation and in alignment with the privacy policy of each “controller”. Each educational organization that chooses to use the services of the Perfect eClass platform will be responsible, as the “controller” towards its users, for informing the users (e.g. teachers, students etc.) about the privacy policy adopted in relation to that organization’s use of the Perfect eClass platform.
In any case, any processing of users’ personal data complies with the principles set out by the General Data Protection Regulation, as follows:
The Institution / organization may use personal data for informational purposes or to send e-mails or announcements and news to the registered user/visitor, solely for the purpose of informing them of any developments concerning the use of the platform.
The Institution / organization does not transfer or publish personal data of users/visitors of the website to third parties, unless otherwise provided by law, or if it is a contractual obligation, or it is necessary for the proper operation of the website and the accomplishment of its functions.
The Institution / organization may process all or part of the information sent by the users for statistical purposes and for improving the services and information it provides.
During the use of the website, personal and non-personal identification data of users of the website may be collected using corresponding technologies, such as cookies and/or IP address tracking and other similar technologies, as resulting from the communication of the web browser with the server. Cookies are small text files stored on the hard disk of each user, which do not take note of any document or file on the user’s computer, nor lead to the identification of the computer with any person. They are used to facilitate user access to specific services and/or pages of the website, for statistical purposes and to determine the areas that are useful or popular.
Non-personal data may also include the type of web browser used by the user, the type of computer, the operating system, the internet service provider (ISP) and other such information. The user of the website can set their browser either to warn them about the use of “cookies” on certain services or to refuse the use of “cookies” in any case. If the user/visitor of the specific services and pages does not wish to use “cookies” to be identified, they may have limited access to some of the services, uses or functions provided by this website. The collection of all data falling into the category of personal data received by the Institution / organization through this website, whether sent by users on a case-by-case basis or collected during browsing and use of the website by users, is carried out in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Processing of Personal Data (Protection of the Individual) Law of 2018 (Law 125(I)/2018).

Upon receipt of the complaint, the warning and withdrawal process for illegally published content is initiated, as follows:
A desktop computer/laptop with a wired connection to the router is the best solution. A user may have a satisfactory experience with wireless internet, but if other users hear their audio as “broken” or “unstable”, that user can either move closer to the wireless base station, try a different wireless network or, better still, connect directly with a wired connection. The use of public Wi-Fi is not recommended. It may be sufficient for browsing the web, but latency and packet loss may cause problems in real-time audio or video transmission.
Users can also connect to the platform via tablet and mobile phone and attend online lessons.
For bandwidth, we recommend a download speed of 1 Mbit and an upload speed of 0.5 Mbit. Users can test their actual bandwidth using speedtest.gr.
For presenters (teachers), as much bandwidth as possible is recommended. For example, if the presenter shares their desktop, desktop sharing will try to publish the desktop updates to the server as quickly as possible.
Regarding the electronic device (desktop computer, laptop), we recommend a dual-core CPU with at least 2 GB of memory.
We recommend any operating system that can run the most recent versions of the “Google Chrome” and “Mozilla Firefox” browsers. Both browsers provide excellent support for Web Real-Time Communications (WebRTC) and furthermore provide good audio quality under lower-bandwidth conditions.
If the user experiences problems (e.g. the audio is distorted, periodically drops out or freezes), you probably have a problem with your network or your computer may be too slow.
While the online lesson is being delivered by the teacher, we recommend that learners’ microphones be muted so that they do not “pick up other sounds” and cause problems in the online classroom. Learners can turn on their microphone when the teacher gives them the floor or when they want to ask a question. Any user may turn on their camera. Our servers can support users operating their camera and microphone. If a user’s camera or audio freezes, this is due to their network.
A basic prerequisite for the correct operation of the platform on the user’s side is that the specifications we mention (in terms of computer, tablet or mobile phone) are met and that there is an internet connection. We are not responsible if a user’s internet connection malfunctions, freezes or is slow (download, upload speed) etc.
Any technical problem that may arise and may cause the platform to stop operating will be resolved and the platform restored at the latest within 36 hours (maximum).
For the “Chrome” browser, the following settings are required regarding the use of the camera and microphone needed for the operation of the platform:
For Android: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2693767?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en&oco=0
For desktop computers: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2693767?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en&oco=0

The website provides two distinct levels of Artificial Intelligence (AI) services:
a) Paid Version (Paid AI Tier - Enterprise API): In this version, the Institution / organization exclusively uses enterprise infrastructure of third-party providers (Google Cloud / Gemini API Enterprise). The data submitted (texts, flat PDFs, notes) are processed under a Zero Data Retention regime. The infrastructure providers are contractually bound not to use this data for the training of public or commercial AI models, ensuring the User’s privacy.
b) Free Version (Free AI Tier): In the free version, the submitted data, whether personal or not, may be used by the third-party infrastructure providers for the training and improvement of public artificial intelligence models. Use of the free version requires the User’s prior, explicit digital consent (Consent Pop-up) within the website.
(a) The Institution / organization acts exclusively as a Data Processor, while the contracting Customer (Tutoring Centre / Educational Organization) is the Data Controller.
(b) If the AI services (free or paid) are used by minor students, the Customer/Organization bears the sole operational and legal responsibility to ensure, in advance and in good time, the written consent of the parents or guardians of the minor Users. The Institution / organization bears no responsibility for unauthorized use of the AI services by minors.
(a) The Institution / organization reserves the right to adjust the cost in credits per AI action performed (e.g. exercise generation, AI tutoring, error analysis), depending on the pricing policy of the third-party infrastructure providers.
(b) High-Cost Language Multiplier: If the User selects processing or output language in one of seven (7) specific high operating cost languages (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Hebrew), the system automatically doubles the cost in credits (Credits * 2), which is necessarily communicated to the User through a pop-up window for cost preview and approval before execution.
(c) The Institution / organization is not responsible for temporary errors, rate limits or delays due to technical limitations, maintenance or peak traffic of the servers of the official third-party AI providers (Google API).
The Institution / organization provides the content (e.g. information, names, photographs, depictions, data etc.) and the services available through the website “AS IS”. Under no circumstances shall the Institution / organization be liable for any legal claims of a civil or criminal nature, nor for any damage (direct, special or consequential) suffered by the user of this website.
The website may contain references (links) to websites of third parties exclusively for the user’s information. A reference to links belonging to websites of third parties does not constitute adoption of their views and actions or acceptance of the content that they express, publish or post. The third parties operating those websites, who are responsible according to the law, bear sole responsibility for the content of their sites or for any damage that may result from their use, when the user accesses them. The user accepts that by visiting websites of third parties they leave this website and are subject to those websites’ terms of use.
The Institution / organization makes every possible effort for the good operation of its network, although it does not guarantee that the functions of its servers will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, malware or other similar items.
The Institution / organization shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for any form of damage suffered by a user of the web pages, services, options and content of the website. It also does not guarantee that any website associated with its own website, or the servers through which any related service is made available to the user/visitor, do not contain “viruses” or other malicious software, nor does it guarantee the accuracy, completeness or availability of the content, pages, services, options or the results of their use.
The terms and conditions of use of this website, and any amendment or alteration of them, are governed and supplemented by Cypriot and European law and the relevant international treaties. The Cypriot Courts are designated as the courts for the resolution of any disputes arising from this. Any provision of the above terms found to be contrary to the aforementioned legal framework or that becomes unenforceable ceases to have effect automatically and is removed from the present terms, without in any case affecting the validity of the other terms.
The terms and conditions of use of this website constitute the entire agreement between the Institution / organization and the user/visitor of its websites and services and bind only them. No modification of these terms of use will be taken into account or form part of this agreement unless expressed in writing and incorporated into these terms of use. Unless otherwise specified, upon notice on the Institution’s website the above terms of use come into effect immediately in their entirety.
The Institution / organization reserves the right to unilaterally modify, add to or alter the content or the services of the website and its terms of use, whenever it deems necessary.
